rod.strumbel.com was created to record various little insights and frustrations encountered in the wonderful world of software development. I come from a background of 20+ years of Microsoft Windows and ASP.net Web development across a broad range of architectures and languages. My focus is on VB.net Framework WinForms and WebForms applications currently. I’m in the process of teaching myself C#, MVVM and .Net core. Much of what I will write about here will be in transitioning from one technology to the other, but there are other posts about just plain system maintenance and such as well.
Anyway, if that is up your alley pull up a chair and read on. Otherwise, you may as well leave as you will find this website boring as hell.
